Project Manager

Project Manager / Remote (Based in South of England) / Up to £65K DOE

We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Project Manager based in the South of England to join one of the countries leading ICPs helping them to deliver a number of projects which have been set up ready in the pipeline.

The projects you’ll be looking after will generally be no larger than 33KV as mostly, anything higher, is carried out by the major projects team. There may be some occasions where you’ll assist on 66KV projects.

The salary is negotiable and dependant on experience. The range for this position is roughly £50-£65,000 + Company Car and largely remote working other than when you’re needed on site. As above the sites are spread out across the South of England hence the need to be located there.

Job Role:

* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality and standards.

* Ensure risks are identified, reported, managed and mitigation measures are put in place.

* To adopt a right first-time ethos with all aspects of the installation.

* To maintain accurate commercials and present progress reports on a regular basis

* Responsible for overseeing the commissioning and witnessing of the jobs within your remit.

* Provide stakeholder and subcontractor management and communicate detailed project updates to the client and internal organisation.

* Ensuring a high standard of Health and Safety is maintained throughout the project duration, liaising with the EHS department.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Previous Project Manager experience

* Your experience comes from a renewables/energy background

* A relevant HNC/HND with an electrical background

* Strong time management skills to ensure you meet agreed deadlines

* Happy to occasionally travel to site when needed (which will be based across the South of the UK)

* Experience working on 33KV substations and preferably 66KV too.
