Are you passionate about Religious Education (RE) and dedicated to guiding students in their spiritual and moral development? We're seeking an enthusiastic and committed RE Teacher to join our team at one of our prestigious secondary schools in Coventry.
Position: RE Teacher
Location: Coventry, UK

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons that explore diverse religious beliefs, practices, and ethical issues.
* Foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their own beliefs and values.
* Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to promote critical thinking and reflection in relation to religious and moral questions.
* Support students in understanding the significance of religion in contemporary society and its impact on global issues.
* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate RE across the curriculum and organize relevant extracurricular activities.
* Assess student learning through a range of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Religious Education.
* Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education and a genuine passion for the subject.
* Experience teaching RE is preferred but not required.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Commitment to promoting tolerance, understanding, and respect for diverse religious perspectives.
