Pharmacist Manager

Evolve is working with a brand-new client; a family-owned independent pharmacy group with valued branches across Oxfordshire.
Our client is seeking two GPhC registered Pharmacist Managers to join their well-established teams at their store in Oxford (OX11 & OX39). With the use of new technology to reduce ‘checking loads’, you will successfully lead a team, and focus efforts on improving and developing their patient services.
These are permanent positions, ideally working Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm) with every 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am to 12pm / 1pm) but hours may be negotiable within reason.

Ideal background for the Pharmacist Managers
* GPhC registered Pharmacist.
* Completed MPharm and pre-registration training.
* Must be accredited to provide pharmacy services such as NMS, Travel vaccinations, BP Checks, Flu Vaccinations etc.
* Ideally be able to lead and manage a team.
Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Managers
* Dispense prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations.
* Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting GP’s orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles and prescribing errors.
* Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, labelling medicines.
* Control medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions.
* Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing Technicians workflow, verifying their preparation, and labelling of medicines verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
