Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking to recruit for a company based in the Darwen area who are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor on a permanent basis. They are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Duties and responsibilities:

· Manage and supervise warehouse staff up to 8 employees to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.

· Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including loading/unloading of goods and verifying incoming/outgoing shipments.

· Managing orders and making sure the stock is ordered on time to complete various jobs.

· Using Microsoft packages to track inventory, orders, and shipments.

· Oversee materials handling processes, including heavy lifting when necessary.

· Implement logistics strategies to optimize warehouse layout and workflow.

· Overseeing staff word loads and distributing various tasks.

Experience required:

· Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.

· Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate forklifts safely.

· Strong understanding of logistics principles and materials handling techniques.

· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Hours of work:

Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm & Friday 8am – 2pm
