Quality Engineer – Heavy Manufacturing

Location: Sheffield
Salary: £45,000 + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus
Mon-Fri Days, 37.5 hours, flexible hours between 7:30am - 6pm
The Company
My Client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist metal alloys and associated products. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia and Americas, with over 75 years experience within manufacturing. The UK site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for product & process improvement with the use of data analysis tools.
On a dat to day basis you will be managing product approval processes, development of control plans, coordinating PPAP activities, managing & coordinating heat treatment processes across all sites, managing complaint systems, managing CPAR system and carrying out APQP activities
KEY SKILLS
· Educated to ONC/HND/Degree in an Engineering Discipline
· Experience of PFMEA, APQP, Control Plans & PPAP
· Experience of Quality Management System Implementation and Development
