A leading manufacturing company within the Dengie area are looking for a confident Quality Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products meet the required specification along with implementing quality improvements. If you have previous experience of quality within a production environment and are looking for a Quality Supervisor role then get in touch.
Duties
Interact with production to ensure company quality standards are met.
Provide quality advice and implement improvements when needed to the production team.
Check and inspect the quality of raw materials to ensure they meet quality expectations as per company standards.
Ensure compliance of industry standards.
Monitor equipment and check packaging print.
Inspect finished product, determining suitability for market.
Ensure electronic records are kept up to date.Please note this role includes the lifting and moving of heavy items.
Skills & Experience
Previous quality experience working within a production environment.
Understanding of HACCP
Computer literate including Microsoft Office.
Organisational skills and the ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
Work within a Agribuisness would be an advantage but is not essential.
A full driving licence and own transport is essential
