Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Procurement Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Samlesbury on an initial 6 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £27.79 per hour travel per hour inside IR35 / Umbrella

The Role:

Raising Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Information (RFI)s and chasing in responses from Suppliers
Negotiating prices with supplers
Working closely with te Performance Procurement team
Working closely with the bid campaign team to achieve acceptable pricing
Manage supplier relationships
Liasing with internal stakeholders to chase dependencies
Supporting the Value Procurement Team with administrative activitiesSkills:

§ Proficient in Microsoft Applications

§ Understanding of procurement capabilities

§ Understanding of sub-contract management

§ Strong communicator who can interact with diverse groups across organisational levels

§ Evidence of working in a team
