Role: Business Development Executive (IT Services) 

Contract: Permanent/Full Time 

Location: Based in Scotland (travel required to Aberdeen every 2 weeks)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 basic + Uncapped Commission

This is a fantastic opportunity for any lead generation / Sales professional with a track record of engaging new business within the IT/Tech space to join a business that has embraced innovation throughout the last 25 years and continues to do so. The business is growing their service portfolio and is looking to expand their successful sales team in order to continue expansion of the client-base and promote the infrastructure and IT services.   

The Role 

This role is ideal for any sales professional that has a proven track record of understanding complex products and services, being able to communicate this well with external stakeholders. If you’re someone who consistently exceeds sales targets and find creative ways of reaching new business, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

Achieve sales goals and help the team meet their targets.
Interact with existing and potential customers in person, over the phone, or via video to understand their business needs and address their challenges.
Gain in-depth knowledge of the organisations services to effectively address customer issues both individually and collectively.
Besides managing accounts, reach out to potential customers to spark interest in our services and create new business opportunities.
Generate and develop new business by networking and participating in relevant events.
Collaborate with the technical team and use internal tools to develop service designs and customer proposals.

Requirements

Recent and verifiable B2B IT services sales experience in the SME to Enterprise sector for at least the past 3 years.
Target and deadline-driven mindset.
Strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly complete tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills, both within the company and with external stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Possession of a full driving license and a vehicle.
