I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Training & Development Specialist (Engineering) to join their team.
Job Description
As Training & Development Specialist (Engineering) your main responsibilities are:
The role will focus on co ordinating training and maintaining a skills matrices for teams within PDW.1
The main activity is to review and plan training, to enable the team to be complaint, safe and have the skills to deliver future Client product.
To collate, manipulate and interpret data which will be used to inform skills gaps
To plan, coordinate and control the activities for a large team in order to achieve efficient operation
This role is within Product Development Workshops.
Qualifications / Skills needed
IT literacy & able to manage emails and connected comms input & manipulate data in EXCEL spreadsheets
Some knowledge of vehicles, vehicle workshops & their control and work management systems.
Technical expertise and experience of workshop and test facility operations 3+ years of training coordination or similar role
Background of working in a manufacturing or workshop environment
Computer literate, including Microsoft Office competency to produce plans, presentations, graphs, process and Single Point Lesson (SPL) documents.
