Simon Acres group are pleased to be working with the UK's leading independent builder's merchant, assisting them in finding an Area Sales Manager.

Role Overview:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your designated territory. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that align with the company product offerings. Your role will focus on building strong relationships with existing customers while also identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including builders, contractors, and construction companies, to drive sales and revenue growth.

Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs and provide expert advice on our range of building materials.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your area, expanding the customer base.

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless order processing.

Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Keep up to date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a sales role in the building supplies or construction industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated area.

Benefits:
