Warehouse/Yard Supervisor

Job Title: Yard Supervisor

Location: Langley

Salary: 27K- 30K yearly

The duties of the role are broad and include a range of responsibilities which include but not limited to;
Leading an experienced team to deliver an outstanding level of service to our customers.
Ensuring the warehouse and yard are kept to the highest standards for safety, storage efficiency, housekeeping.
Complying with the health & safety guidelines that are in place.
Keeping the Operations Manager and Transport Department informed if any issues should they arise.
Coordinating with the Transport Planner and assisting them with daily duties, including: printing and distributing pick notes to warehouse staff, issuing delivery notes to drivers.
Processing customers orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.

What we are looking for …..

You should have previous experience in similar role.
Knowledge and experience with stock.
Basic admin and IT skills.
Some knowledge of transport & distribution would be desirable.
The ability to collaborate with other team members and departments.
Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Organised and efficient.
Communication skills.
Can-do positive attitude.
