We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Manager to join a NHS organisation and play a pivotal role in the success of their Trust Integration Engine project.
Responsibilities:
* Developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the integration engine.
* Collaborating with stakeholders, including developers, suppliers, and connected system owners, to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
* Designing and executing both manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and security.
* Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools and working with the development team to resolve them efficiently.
* Managing the testing process throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
* Monitoring and reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.
* Continuously improving the testing process by identifying and implementing best practices and tools.
* Mentoring and guiding junior testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test management role.
* A strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
* Experience with testing web services.
* Proficiency in creating and executing both manual and automated test cases.
* Experience with test automation tools.
* Knowledge of defect tracking tools.
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Job Details:
* Remote based but travel to BSPS sites may be required
* Contract Length – 7 months
* Outside of IR35
