Job Description:

Overview: Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading ingredient supplier to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator on a temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply chain processes, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting the efficient distribution of products.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is maintained to meet customer demand while minimising excess inventory.
Order Processing: Coordinate and process customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to manage purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any issues related to supply chain disruptions.
Logistics Management: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
Data Analysis: Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, shipments, and other supply chain activities.
Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve supply chain issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the food ingredient industry.
Knowledge of clean label products and market trends.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Working Conditions:

Full-time position based in Pontefract.
Temp-to-perm arrangement with the potential for permanent employment based on performance
