Halian - DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented and versatile DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and automating IT systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to streamline processes, improve system performance, and ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous Deployment: Utilize Argo CD for declarative GitOps continuous deployment in an OpenShift environment.
• Application Deployment: Build and deploy applications, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Automated Deployment Pipelines: Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, reducing manual intervention and streamlining the release process.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with developers to ensure the quality of releases, integrating automated testing frameworks and tools into the CI pipeline to maintain code reliability and quality.
• Infrastructure Collaboration: Work with the infrastructure team to coordinate necessary changes in tools, networks, or servers.
• Jenkins Pipeline Management: Configure and manage Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration, including build automation, testing, and code quality checks.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions within the OpenShift environment to track system performance, identify issues, and facilitate troubleshooting.
• CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Integrate monitoring tools with CI/CD pipelines to enhance system observability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in a DevOps role, with a strong focus on continuous deployment, automation, and system management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Argo CD, Jenkins, and OpenShift. Experience with automated testing frameworks and monitoring tools.
• Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with development and infrastructure teams to achieve common goals.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve system issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Tools: Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools and frameworks, as well as experience with cloud platforms, and OpenShift, or related fields.
