Senior IT Support Technician, Senior IT Field Engineer, 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support, Windows Server, Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) , VLAN, Microsoft/ Windows environment, Liverpool & Ellesmere Port
PLEASE READ - Based in Liverpool 3-4 days a week and Ellesmere Port 1-2 days a week (5 days a week on site).
****Applicants MUST be able to drive and this is based on site (Liverpool & Ellesmere Port) 5 days a week - use of a company car is available****
An IT company are looking for a Senior IT Support Technician/ IT Field Technician to provide technical support (Server/ Infrastructure/ VLAN and assistance to end-users for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions promptly.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
Respond to IT support tickets and service requests
