Carrier Representative
Salford - hybrid after 6 months
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a Carrier Representative to join one of the largest logistics companies globally. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lively and friendly team with the opportunity to develop your career within logistics.
This role is suited to someone with 6-12 months experience within a logistics/transport business, or if you’re eager to learn and want to start a career in logistics.
You’ll be based out of the office in Salford Quays, once you’ve passed probation there is an opportunity for hybrid working.
What you’ll be doing -
Maintain and grow relationships with carrier accounts
Research new carriers in the marketplace, generate leads, and build new carrier relationships
Provide updates to customers and building ongoing relationships
Understand market trends and seasonality
What we’re looking for -
Previous experience in a logistics/transport role is preferred but not essential
Additional European language is preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build relationships and work well with others
Hours of work -
Full time, Monday to Friday office hours
Salary -
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum
Salary is dependant on experience
