This position will play a critical role in tracking various cash and receivable KPIs that are essential to monitoring the Company’s performance. You’ll become intimately familiar with our commission structure across product offerings and provide meaningful insights. As the Commissions Analyst your duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Capturing, coding, and reconciling daily cash deposits ensuring accuracy between different
product types
Help develop, document, and monitor internal controls surrounding cash
Perform analysis to identify monthly cash variances and trends; digging into the details as needed
Assist with process improvement projects to streamline and automate manual accounting workflows. In this role you’ll embrace opportunities to improve day to day processes.
Ensure sufficient commissions data is retained to effectively support related business processes, including commission variance reviews and various audit requests
Maintain and track carrier metrics such as carrier advance periods, payment frequency, average rate received, etc. Act as subject matter expert in this area; being willing and able to answer department leaders’ questions on these metrics or other commission related questions
Assist with completing annual audit preparations, including the company’s annual financial statement audit
Aid in the monitoring of monthly revenue outputs
Communicate with carrier partners as necessary
Other duties as assigned
