As a Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving their commercial strategy and ensuring sustained growth and profitability. THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO INDIA
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion in the industrial materials sector.
* Lead and mentor a dynamic sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
* Identify new business opportunities and forge strategic partnerships to enhance the company's market presence and competitiveness.
* Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
* Drive pricing strategies and contract negotiations to maximize profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as operations, finance, and product development to ensure alignment and seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
* Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of commercial activities and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* Proven track record of success in a senior commercial leadership role within the industrial materials or related industry, with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
* Deep understanding of the Indian market dynamics, customer behavior, and regulatory environment.
* Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable commercial initiatives.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious targets.
* Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change effectively.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in additional Indian languages is a plus
