My client is a well-established heavy engineering manufacturer working across several key sectors in Sheffield including construction, MOD, Rail and nuclear. Due to expansion and business needs they have a requirement for a CNC Vertical Borer in their machine shop in Sheffield.
Either days regular 6am – 4pm Monday to Thursdays OR Nights regular working 8pm – 6am Monday – Thursday.
Experience in working on vertical borers is essential in addition to the following responsibilities:
* Experience of working as a CNC Vertical Borer on vertical machines
* Knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens
* Working on small batch jobs
* Working on large components
* Knowledge of self-inspection
* Ability to work to tight tolerances
* Basic Programming knowledge i.e., linear movements
