The IT Support Technician will be an integral team member in the Technology department of our industrial/manufacturing company, tasked with providing first-line support and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems. This job is a full time , on-site position based in Derby

Description
Provide first-line IT support to the entire company
Perform regular system checks and updates to ensure smooth operations
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Assist in the implementation of new IT projects and systems
Maintain and update IT inventory
Provide training to staff on new systems and software
Collaborate with external IT vendors when necessary
Comply with company's IT policies and proceduresProfile
A successful IT Support Technician should have:
An educational background in Information Technology or similar field
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Strong knowledge of IT systems and networks
Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical staff
Ability to work well in a team
