Our Client are a family run meat processor with a state of the art factory opened in 2020. Due to the business growth and investment they are looking for a number of skilled Butchers and Slaughterhouse Operatives.

Butcher - Main duties are as follows:

* Stunning, flanking, legging, trimming, back saw, sheepskin removal, preparatory trimming.

* Operate and maintain butchery equipment and tools.

* Ensure adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards in the workplace.

* Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the meat processing facility.

* Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to meet production targets and maintain product quality.

* Follow all animal welfare protocols and handle animals with care and compassion (for slaughtermen).

Butcher - Additional details:

* Shifts are Monday to Friday 0600am-0200pm Monday to Friday + overtime available regularly

* Further development opportunities with pay grading structure depending on experience.

* Long-term work with permanent roles after 12 weeks.

* Vacancies are available in Butchery, Slaughterhouse and other departments.

Butcher- Benefits:

* Up to £18.00 p/hour depending on experience with OTE circa £40,000 per annum.

* Further development opportunities with pay grading structure depending on experience.
