Senior Engineer Position – Major Earthworks Project, Guildford

Role Essentials:

* Direct involvement in the construction of key infrastructure

* Oversight of subcontractor activities ensuring project milestones are met

* Implementation of risk assessments to maintain safety and compliance

* Upholding rigorous quality assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle

* Contribution to the design and execution of roads, including adherence to S278 regulations

Skills and Experience:

* Proven track record in senior engineering roles within major construction projects

* Expertise in managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams

* Strong background in conducting comprehensive risk assessments

* Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest quality assurance protocols

* Familiarity with S278 or equivalent road construction regulations

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

* Strong communication and leadership abilities

Qualifications:

* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is highly desirable

* Relevant certifications in project management and health and safety are advantageous
