Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities and school teams.
Monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
Ensure the health and safety of students during physical activities.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Desirable Attributes:

Experience in coaching or leading school sports teams.
Knowledge of a range of sports and physical activities.
First Aid certification.
