Senior Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the high standards of our products within the business services industry. Located in Wetherby, the role requires a meticulous individual with a strong background in engineering and manufacturing.

Description

Assess, maintain and generate existing and new Standard Operating Procedures (SoP) and Quality Acceptance Standards (QAS).
Passionately drive QA standards including continuous improvement in all areas across the business. Help to develop a quality mindset across all teams.
Perform daily process confirmation audits across all areas internally and externally to identify noncompliance of quality procedures, standards, and specifications. Conduct non-conformance investigation feedback to various levels of management and coach production teams to achieve process compliance.
Be a QA representative during new product development (NPD) and product evaluation trials (PET) ensuring that such information is communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Write and maintain QA procedures.
Support the Management Systems team to meet the commitment to comply with QMS 9001:2015, EMS 14001:2015
Actively step up, make decisions and lead the team in the absence of the Quality Manager
Custodian of data and monitor departmental KPI'sProfile

Internal auditing to recognised by certification
Ability to analyse problems, detect root cause and resolve issues.
Good awareness of 'right first time'(RFT), 'on time in full' (OTIF) metrics and targets.
Ability to meet and maintain SHEQ and 5s initiatives.
Proven track record of quality audit and inspection of suppliers.
A positive approach to problem solving.
Working Knowledge of ISO9001:2015.Job Offer
