Lead Developer

Euronet facilitates the movement of payments around the world and serves as a critical link between our partners – Financial Institutions, Fintechs, Retailers, Service Providers – and their end consumers, both locally and globally.
We currently have an opening in Las Vegas, NV for a Lead Developer working with one of our strategic Fintech partners. This is a full-time, in-office permanent position. This position will be responsible for the management of all projects tied to this partner.
Coding: You will write clean and functional PHP code for the backend and JavaScript code for the frontend, and you will optimize the software through testing, debugging, and developing new features
Designing: You are participating in the design and creation of scalable software (on client and server-side architecture) and creating user interactions on the web application
Administration: You will manage the entire lifecycle to produce the software and applications and provide feedback to the management throughout the development process
Managing: You manage the end-to-end life cycle to produce software and applications, produce reposts and create the technical documentation
Monitoring: You will monitor the automated tests and provide feedback to management throughout the development process
Directing the development team in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including design, development, coding, testing, and debugging, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and effectively translate them into technical requirements for the development team.
Planning and documenting comprehensive technical specifications for features or system design, ensuring a clear roadmap for development and implementation.
You lead by example and set coding standards for the team
Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering their professional growth, and encouraging the adoption of Euronet and industry best practices.
Ensuring that software quality standards are met by enforcing code standards, conducting rigorous testing, and implementing continuous improvement processes.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and deliver effective and impactful software applications.
Requirements
Ideally you have knowledge of the following:
Programming Languages: PHP language (version 7+), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Frameworks & Systems: AngularJS, Vue JS, React and Git, Gitlab/GitHub
Databases: MySQL, Redis
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Must have 7-10 years of solid experience in software development.
Proven success as a technical team leader
You are a good mentor & coach.
