My client is a not for profit organisation that support people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, and older people, including those with dementia by offering a number of services.
They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual with a strong flair for digital communications.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to use their skills to drive the organisations digital profile and gain experience in an exciting, innovative care company, which delivers its unique brand of person centred care across Bolton.
You will help write, edit and create engaging content for the website, its social media channels and publications and newsletters to raise the organisations profile and build the organisations digital presence. You will also help monitor and evaluate our digital communications.
With great organisational skills and demonstrable experience of successfully driving digital communications, you will use a number of different software packages as part of the role. As the Digital Content Assistant, you will be well versed in digital communications and embrace new technologies.
Above all, you will be creative, confident, highly motivated, adaptable and have outstanding digital skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
You will work alongside the Digital Communications and Marketing Lead and be part of their friendly team.

Responsibilities
* You will be able to write creative and engaging content for a range of platforms. Including our website, Group emails, our social media channels, newsletters and publications.
* You will assist the Digital Communications Lead to update, edit and refresh content and images on the website using content management systems.
* You will have strong editorial skills and be able to take basic information and transform it into engaging articles for newsletters, news stories and posts for their social media platforms.
* You will look at new and creative ways to raise the organisations digital profile and contribute new ideas as to how they can do this including increasing the social media spaces that they operate in.
* You will be responsible for helping to drive and grow the organisations social media presence across all channels. Travelling around their services and creating content to keep it up-to-date and fresh. You will also respond to feedback and comments to engage their followers and grow the reach.
* You will have experience of developing and delivering multimedia campaign plans that make an impact.
* You will have experience of working with photographers, designers, and videographers and fully briefing them on work required.
* You will be able to plan and prioritise work on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment often to tight deadlines.
Required skills and experience
* Experience of working on digital communications for an organisation or campaign, either in a voluntary or paid capacity.
* Excellent writing skills - able to write creatively in concise, error-free English to a range of different audiences internally and externally.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to articulate clearly verbally and in writing to a variety of people at all levels.
* A flair for digital communications to develop and drive forward our digital profile.
* Experience of developing multimedia campaign plans and delivering them to make an impact.
* Knowledge of the workings of internal communications within an organisation.
* Conversant with, and enthusiastic about, using social media platforms.
* Ability to work well in a team, but able to work independently.
* Strong administrative skills and a methodical approach to completing tasks, meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
* Experience in creating analytics reports (e.g., Google Analytics for websites as well as social media analytics) and drawing insights from them to grow and extend our reach.
* Able to work confidently with designers, photographers and videographers briefing them on work required
