Responsibilities:
Independently operate CNC machines including milling machines, lathes, and grinders to produce precision parts.
Analyze blueprints and specifications to set up machines and equipment accurately.
Utilize computerized measuring tools to ensure parts meet stringent quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to understand project objectives and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues to ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; higher preference for candidates with certifications from accredited technical programs.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, including blueprints and operational manuals.
Strong mathematical aptitude for precise measurements and calculations.
Demonstrable experience with CNC machine tools and computerized measuring equipment.
Solid mechanical skills with a proven ability to operate a variety of machine tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification from an accredited community college or technical/vocational school.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Exceptional organizational abilities with a focus on optimizing productivity and quality.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of documenting processes and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
