We are working with a food manufacturing business who are investing significantly into their production facility and team.

We are currently seeking a Production Team Leader to take on the responsibility of managing daily production with a focus on product quality, operational processes, and daily reporting. If you have prior experience in a team lead role within manufacturing and a strong understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations, we want to hear from you!

Job Profile:

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and managing production runs
- Determining necessary resources for production
- Managing the production process to meet specifications and deadlines
- Monitoring production to ensure efficient utilization of time and resources
- Liaising with other Line Managers and reporting to the Production Manager
- Ensuring product quality and adherence to quality standards
- Promoting a safe working environment and ensuring staff are trained against written procedures

Scope of Responsibility:
- Reporting directly to the Production Manager
- Managing production operatives to ensure safe final products
- Stopping production in the event of a product non-conformance situation affecting product safety

Key Attributes:
- Prior experience as a team lead in manufacturing
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Proficient in MS Office (ideal but not essential)
- Good communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Excellent attention to detail
