A leading engineering contractor require a Logistics and Rigging Manager to join their site based operations in Denmark
The Role
As the logistics manager for my main duties were to look after the following areas
• Lifting Operations - write lift plans, method statements and risk assessment for a variety of lifting operations (tower & mobile cranes, roto telehandlers, vehicle mounted cranes etc). Also required to review and reject or approve sub-contractors lift plan submissions, manage the lifting and logistics teams on site and take part in weekly lifting meetings with the other AP’s and temporary works co-ordinator where future works were discussed, and actions allocated.
• Site Establishment – Setting up the Office and Welfare, fence lines, pedestrian walkways and haul roads, power, water and lighting, emergency points, loading and unloading areas, material laydown areas etc. • Organising and managing deliveries and keeping track of sub-contractor deliveries through the weekly site delivery schedule
Skills/Experience Required
- Proven experiece as a Logistics and Rigging Manager ( AP qualified or rigging course complete )
- Will to work on a rotational pattern
- Large project background
