Welder

ITS Industrial are now recruiting for TIG Welders at our Hereford based client.
The role will include fabricating stainless steel and aluminium and some pipe work. The role will also require someone with physical dexterity, problem solving abilities, stamina and attention to detail.
The main tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the position are:
* Assess welds to ensure they are clean, free of error and in accordance with relevant welding codes.
* Read and interpret production drawings in order to lay out a welding project, fabricate and weld
* Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to ensure smooth work operations
* Maintain welding safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment
* Carry out welding according to set dimensions to meet general test requirements
* Organise and clean welding equipment on a regular basis
* Cut holes through metal work pieces using drill press
* Weld materials in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
* Meet production targets whilst maintaining our standards of quality
* Promote good housekeeping practices
* Build positive relationships with both internal and external customers
* To strive to continuously improve working practices and procedures and positively promote the same to colleagues
Ideally, you will be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing work schedules.
Additional Information
Full time role, becoming permanent with our client after twelve weeks.
Pay rate will be £13-£16 an hour, depending on experience.
Hours
Mon-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm . 30 Minutes unpaid lunch break.
Optional Overtime is available on Saturdays and Sundays if wanted and is paid at 1.5 rate and 2.0 rate respectively,
