Accountant

TEXO Recruitment are seeking an Accountant for our external client a growing chartered accountancy firm in Aberdeenshire. This full-time position aims to expand our client’s team at either of their Fraserburgh or Turriff offices.
As an Accountant, you will play a key role in contributing to the smooth running of business operations. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of the company, including the preparation of financial statements, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to deliver strategic financial insights that drive informed business decisions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Accountant.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
* High level of integrity and confidentiality.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred).
* Experience of working in an Accountancy Practice.
