Role – Sales / New Business Manager - Conveyancing

Location – Milton Keynes

Salary – £25K - £32K depending on experience

Our Client is a rapidly growing Conveyancing Firm based in central Milton Keynes. They pride themselves in providing a personal approach to their Clients, providing every client with a named contact, as well as a small support team to facilitate their case as quickly and efficiently as possible.

They focus on high value / quality cases from a range of quality Introducers across the country who continue to provide repeat business due to the quality of service they provide. They aim to provide a more personalised, quality service than some of the mass volume Conveyancing Firms.

To continue their rapid growth they are seeking a Sales / New Business Manager who will be tasked with managing / mentoring the current team as well as building and developing relationship with Business Providers / Introducers – such as Estate Agents / Mortgage & Financial Advisors / Solicitors, etc.. In addition, you will work on converting enquiries & quotes into new instructions. Working closely with the M.D., you will need to be an outgoing and proactive individual, with excellent communication skills and a ‘salesy’ drive to achieve success.

WILL SUIT SOMEONE WITH ESTATE AGENCY / PROFESSIONAL SALES BACKGROUND OR EVEN AN OUTGOING PERSON WITH CONVEYANCING OR OTHER LEGAL OR ‘PROFESSIONAL SERVICES’ EXPERIENCE LOOKING TO CHANGE FOCUS IN A CHALLENGING AND REWARDING ROLE.

The role:

The main purpose of this role is to contact new and existing customers through outbound calling at critical times in their house buying or selling journey. Introducing customers to their conveyancing services and securing their Instructions.

The successful candidate will also provide effective customer service and administrative support to the wider business. Understanding the fundamental aspects of the conveyancing process you will deal with all initial enquiries and will have responsibility for the conversion of these into instructions.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

* Outbound calling to prospective clients & Inbound call taking for new and existing clients

* To complete a range of new business administrative tasks associated with Initial Welcome Calls, matter creation and issuing of initial documents efficiently, accurately and within specified timescales outlined in our Service Level Agreements

* Chase Starter forms and support clients with filling out the form correctly.

* Proactive Management of a pipeline of Enquiry cases to maximise the conversion of the enquiries into instructions and to ensure files are opened within agreed SLA timescales.

* Proactive Management of Inactive/Abeyance cases to ensure that the caseload pipelines are accurately maintained in line with agreed processes.

* Quote conversion – talking clients through the quotes

* Proactively liaising with clients, introducers, and agents to ensure that enquiries can progressed speedily to ensure conversion of the enquiry into an instruction

* Continually manage / mentor the existing team

* Effective at communicating – being able to articulate the features and benefits of our Client’s services clearly to secure the instruction

* Highly organised - able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines / timescales

* Excellent customer service and communication (both verbally and in writing) skills

* Demonstrates the ability to ensure that customer needs are paramount, whilst recognising business need

* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed

* A strong team player – understands the dynamics of working in a team and has the ability to support other team members.
