Our Independent client operates this prestigious 4-star Hotel based in South Yorkshire with commutable links to Sheffield, Leeds, York, Hull & Doncaster, providing rosette standard dining in their casual fine dining restaurant, alongside banqueting & a busy bar area of this stunning country property.
This is a multi faceted role for an experienced head chef, this is a great opportunity for a focused chef to really push on with their career, this is a superb opportunity for the right chef to come into this venue and really take the hotel to the next level for the independent owners
You will be currently working within a fresh food led kitchen as a head chef, with experience in high quality banqueting, the ideal candidate will have a proven background in a similar standard of kitchen and have experience managing in a fast paced environment.
The ideal head chef candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience working in a fresh food led environment, be in a restaurant, hotel or even Gastro pub.
- Excellent Kitchen management, from H&S to haccp, wastage control, labour costs & Menu costing
- Spot on knowledge of seasonal produce, and utilising ingredients in a creative way for the award-winning menu
- The skills, knowledge & desire to enthuse chefs to push themselves for perfection every day
