Street Lighting Electrician
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Preston
Hours: 7:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 p.a. depending on experience + vehicle + company benefits
Due to continued expansion in the region and new contract wins, my client is currently recruiting for an Electrician with street lighting experience to join their organisation on a permanent basis in Birmingham. My client is a well-established, utilities connection provider with an excellent reputation in their field.
Responsibilities
Installation of lanterns on new columns.
Installation of feeder pillars and associated distributed systems.
Fault finding on SWA underground networks.
Cable pulls and private SWA joining.
Testing & Certification of works.
Installation of EV chargers on domestic and commercial premises (if the successful candidate has experience/ knowledge of EV chargers).
Experience/ Skills Required
Previous experience of working on street lighting is essential.
Qualified Electrician.
18th Edition accreditation.
Ability to work at heights.
Experience of feeder pillar installations.
Experience of EV chargers (desirable).
City & Guilds in Testing and Inspection is desired.
City & Guilds in Vehicle Charging is desired.
NRSWA/ Street works certification.
Full UK Driving Licence.
