An award-winning, well established mechanical & electrical contractor, with a rich history of delivering incredible projects across East Anglia and London are searching for a Mechanical Project Manager.
Jark Cambridge are proud to be representing this market leading M&E firm who specialise in delivering projects ranging from Education, Healthcare, Leisure Centres, Gymnasiums,, Arts & Leisure, Student Accommodation and Corporate Offices. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be based out of there head office near South Woodham Ferrers but will be expected to travel to projects across the business.
Performance Objectives
• Ensuring performance of staff and contractors, H&S legislation including CDM is at a high level.
• Risk and method statement, project reporting, Budget Control, Client, and stakeholder expectations.
• Time management Planning, Communications, Project delivery, Quality, Auditing, Profit & loss, WIP and Debt.
• Increasing annual turnover through pipeline development.
• Training, resource forecasting, team meetings and communications.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders in order to speedily resolve day to day operational needs and identify opportunities for increasing the level of profitable business arising from these relationships.
• Staff life cycle from recruitment to leaving.
Person Specification
• Previous commercial management experience is preferred.
• First aid qualified.
• Ideally have a proven track record of business development and already have established relationships with main contractors and sub-contractors.
• Ambitious and hands-on approach to projects.
• Longevity within previous positions.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects ranging from £250k-5.5million.
