Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Coventry based client in their search for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join them on an initial temporary basis, offering an immediate start. You will be working as part of a close knit dynamic payroll team, and will be responsible for overseeing multiple payrolls from start to finish for 1500+ employees. This positions offers hybrid working upon completion of training.
* Provide cover for the Payroll Manager when required in leading a small team
* Support management with payroll projects
* Processing multiple payrolls from start to finish
* Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
* Manual calculations experience
* Reconciling payroll and resolving discrepancies
* Processing multiple BACS payments
* Identifying process improvements to maximise efficiency
* Resolving escalated payroll queries
