Our client is a successful construction business with a national profile and continues to expand. They are a diverse, projects focused, business spanning across Industrial, Commercial, and Residential. They are seeking motivated individuals to join their team to continue the forward momentum.
Opportunity:
Reporting to the MD this role entails coordinating and supervising commercial, residential and industrial construction projects, overseeing manpower and site operations, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence, while maintaining high standards of Health & Safety. Additionally, it involves liaising with stakeholders, resolving technical issues, and managing materials and logistics. Sites are on various locations across Tipperary/ South-East. Projects vary across multiple sectors from Commercial, Residential to Health, Education, Restoration, amongst others.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and supervise the construction of commercial, residential or industrial developments.
* Provide support to the Managing Director and Contracts Manager.
* Oversee commercial projects and manage on-site manpower, including direct staff, trades, and subcontractors across multiple sites.
* Host meetings with Clients, Architects, Design Team, site crew, and Senior Management to provide project progress updates.
* Lead weekly toolbox talks and whiteboard meetings.
* Ensure works on site meet quality standards and are completed within budget and on time.
* Plan and coordinate daily site requirements, including labor, material ordering, and meeting deadlines.
* Perform company compliance, Health & Safety, and administrative procedures, recording site operations' progress in the site diary.
* Set out groundworks and structural aspects of projects using Total Station, GPS, and automatic levels.
* Organize project drawings and resolve technical issues as they arise.
* Liaise with subcontractors, project site team, and design team.
* Track materials, plant, and logistics.
* Conduct QA procedures, concrete pour checks, and RFIs.
* Maintain excellent Health & Safety standards onsite.
Candidate Requirements:
* Background in Construction Management or Trades.
* Demonstrated minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on projects valued over €2/3M.
* Requirement for competent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Products, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
* Third level Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Familiarity with robotic total station, GPS, and leveling equipment.
Remuneration:
As an indication salary will be in the range of €50,000-€65,000. Additional benefits available and will be agreed with the successful candidate during final discussions.
