Urgent Term Time School Chef
Location: UB13BT
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
We are urgently seeking an experienced School Chef to join our team at a secondary school in UB13BT, catering to 500 students and staff (ages 12-18). Immediate start required.
Role Overview:
Prepare three daily meals: Breakfast, Morning Snack, and Lunch.
Manage and supervise a team of 11 General Assistants (10 chefs and 1 barista).
Ensure food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Manage food supplies and accommodate dietary needs.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a school.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent food safety knowledge.
Creativity and passion for quality meals.
Valid DBS check is essential.
Benefits:
