PE Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated PE Teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to students.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the physical and mental wellbeing of our students while fostering a love for sports and physical activity.
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching Scale, final salary based on experience.
As a PE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, promoting physical fitness, skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
* Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, motivated, and empowered to participate and succeed in physical activities.
* Incorporating a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and equipment to engage students and enhance their understanding and enjoyment of PE.
* Assessing student progress and achievement through observation, practical assessments, and constructive feedback, and providing guidance and support to help students reach their full potential.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* An Enhanced DBS check, ensuring your suitability to work with children and young people in a school setting.
* Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching, with a strong background in delivering PE lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
* A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification (ideally), demonstrating your understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
* Excellent subject knowledge in PE, including proficiency in a range of sports and physical activities, and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of individual students.
