AKABI - Fullstack Java Developer

AKABI is looking for several Java Developers for permanents roles at our customers and/or for differents consultancy missions based in Brussels and/or in Wallonia (Namur/ Liège/ Walloon Brabant). We are open to hire employees in CDI and/or to collaborate with freelancers consultant.

The job

• Design and develop technical solutions,
• Starting from the functional requirements,
• Following our quality/security/legal guidelines and standards;
• Develop efficient, pragmatic, user friendly and easy to maintain Java applications;
• Ensure quality (unit/integration tests, documentation, etc );
• Contribute to the development of our Service Oriented Architecture (SOA);
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes;
• Share your experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, Rest, JPA, SQL Server;
• Share your experience with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD in GCP;
• Work in an Agile environment.

Profile

• Master or Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Sciences or equivalent ;
• Min 3 to 5 years experience in a similar job ;
• Able to speak in French and English (Dutch is a plus) ;
• Pro-active, autonomous, flexible thinker ;
• A real teamplayer ;
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, test-driven development and continuous integration
• Problem solver, able to quickly understand existing code
• Solution and customer oriented
• Ability to integrate easily into an existing team and to supervise juniors
