Site Manager (Electrical)
Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Site Manager with an electrical background to oversee M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) installations on our project located in Wembley. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and meet high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Lead and manage multiple project teams and electrical projects simultaneously to ensure that specifications, quality, and budget targets are met.
On-Site Management: Oversee all on-site electrical activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the health and safety manager to provide all safety needs for the project.
Quality Assurance: Manage quality processes, including on-site inspections, handovers with clients and engineers, and off-site tracking and forecasting.
Electrical Expertise: Utilise high-level knowledge of electrical regulations and troubleshoot electrical issues as needed.
Team Building: Build and lead a strong team, supporting continuous improvement in project execution.
Qualifications
Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in electrical engineering or project management (minimum SSSTS, ideally SMSTS).
Minimum of 15 years' experience as an electrician.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Compensation
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
