Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineers x 3 – Graduate to Senior Level – North Leeds - £28-50k + hybrid working / 3 days a week in the office + 7.5% pension contribution

Samuel Frank is recruiting three Electrical Engineers to join a very well regarded engineering consultancy with a base in North Leeds. They have ongoing, long-term contracts and they’re looking for Electrical Design Engineers to join their design team on a permanent basis.

Key aspects of the Electrical Design Engineer positions include –

* They’re a professional consultancy business looking for a high calibre individuals to join the Electrical team

* Electrical Design Engineers with experience of working on designs for water treatment, sewage works, process environments will be well suited to this position – this isn’t essential

* Because they’re looking for three Electrical Design Engineers, they’re flexible and can accommodate a graduate level Engineer, right through to a seasoned, experienced Design Engineer with 5-10 years experience

* The positions are office based and will suit Engineers looking to work in a bustling design office (rather than site based).

* The successful hires will ideally be Degree qualified or be working towards Degree status. This Engineer will work within agreed deliverables, key milestones, project methodology, quality assurance and control strategy as well as having input into technical elements of the Project Management Plan (depending on the level of experience)

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer roles include -

* Work on design inputs; submit RFI requests

* Produce design deliverables including calculations, drawings, sketches, reports etc.

* Work within project checking and approval arrangements

* Assess, document and communicate design changes

* Participate in technical reviews

* Attend internal project review meetings

The offices are located on the North side of Leeds and they’re easily commutable for 3 days a week from most of West Yorkshire including places such as Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Harrogate, Garforth, Pudsey and Halifax.
