Mechanical Maintenance/Service Engineer

Zenith People are working with our client who are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join them in a full time, permanent role.
Reporting into the Operations Manager the main objective of the role is:-
* To service and maintain commercial sites around the UK
* Attend breakdowns troubleshoot and rectify issues.
* To communicate effectively with other team members and sub-contractors
* Ensure high standards of workmanship and professionalism
* To communicate with our clients to ensure that their expectations and time frames are managed
Required experience
* Experience Service Engineer
* NVQ level 3 or higher Engineering Maintenance
* To be able to read and understand schematics both electrical and mechanical
* Experience in renewables would be beneficial but not essential
* Minimum of 3 years engineering experience
* Full UK driving licence.
* Must be able to work under own initiative and be a self-starter
* Must have a good level of written and oral English
* F Gas Qualified Cat 1 – Desirable
* Hot water vented and unvented systems certified – Desirable
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform mechanical site maintenance on the likes of heating and chilling systems
* Complete annual and weekly site reports
* Processing job and service sheets
* To champion strong and effective communication, both internally and externally at all times
