Quality Inspector

We are working with a large manufacturing company who are based within the Braintree area, to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their team. The successful candidate will provide control support to the production team and must be comfortable working with a broad spectrum of parts. You will be responsible for conducting internal audits, calibration activities and involved in CAPA.

Duties:

Complete a programme of training to be conducted within the Quality Assurance Department
Measurement and inspection of turned, ground and assembled components
Conduct in-process/final inspection activity, maintaining accurate records
Assist with improving the process capability of machined components
Conduct and record calibration and auditing activities
To be considered for this exciting Quality role, you will need the following experience:

Experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role
Strong problem solving capabilities with high attention to detail
Industry experience within a manufacturing sector
Inspecting equipment including micrometers and gauges along with bespoke measuring equipment
Reading and understanding engineering drawings
Ability to work efficiently and accurately
Familiar with Microsoft package or equivalent software
