SOUS CHEF

My client is a independent contract catering company whose aim is to bring exceptional quality meals and service using fresh produce at all venues. They are looking for a passionate experienced Sous Chef to join their team at one of their busy B&I venues in Stoke-on-Trent.

As Sous Chef, your duties and responsibilities will be

Assisting the Head Chef in the running of a smooth service.
Deputising in the absence of the Head Chef.
Managing, motivating and developing the large sized team.
Maintaining the health and safety standards of the kitchen, adhering to company policies and procedures.
The ideal Sous Chef will:

Have experience as a Sous Chef, or in a similar kitchen management position.
Have a strong personality
Have effective management, communication and organizational skills.
Have a real passion for food and a willingness to learn.
Costing skills are desirable.
Job-Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Mon- Fri, 40 hours per week ( plus 1 weekend in 3 weeks). 8am-4pm

Salary: Up to 30K depending on experience
