Patent Prosecution Paralegal

Remote Patent Paralegal Opportunity- 
Our client a Midwest-based leader in the IP space and nationally ranked as a top place to work seeks an Intellectual Property Patent Paralegal/Specialist with 4+ years of experience for a remote position. Responsibilities include gathering technical info, monitoring deadlines, and managing patent maintenance. Docketing for US and foreign patents is also part of the role.
Responsibilities Include:
Maintains docket system of due dates for actions including responses, renewals, oppositions, Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) requirements and payment of patent annuities in foreign countries.
Coordinates domestic and international filings with the USPTO and foreign law offices and/or other foreign entities.
Prepares and files various documents with the USPTO or foreign counsel
Prepares and records assignments.
Prepares correspondence to clients.
Prepares status summary reports for attorneys and clients.
Reviews and takes action on correspondence received from foreign associates.
Obtains legalizations and certifications.
Researches and compiles information pertaining to national and international patent rights including searches of USPTO records, industry databases and general legal research.
Qualifications:
Required: Four or more years of patent experience.Preferred: Bachelor's degree and Paralegal certification. 
Strong computer literacy.
Exceptional organizational skills and adaptability.
Knowledge of U.S. and foreign patent work.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
Problem-solving ability.
Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
Ability to multitask in a pressured environment.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Commitment to professionalism and strong work ethic.
Compensation is commensurate with experience ranging from $70-$90K annually and an excellent benefits package.
