We have a fantastic opportunity for a Renal Transport Relationship Manager to join our team based in Leicester, with travel to other bases and renal sites as required

The role of the Renal Transport Relationship Manager will be to recognise and work within the values of EMED and display high standards of integrity and professionalism towards colleagues and patients, always ensuring a welcoming and friendly attitude.

You will develop a rounded understanding of the Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland delivery model, develop and maintain positive working relationships with all delivery functions.

Other duties include:

* Being the point of contact for escalation for your designated Renal units (Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland) if they fall into a bed crisis, patient’s queries, risk assessments among other things.

* Ensure appropriate resourcing to adhere against contractual Key Performance Indicators through identifying and actioning recruitment and retention of core staff.

* Ensure appropriate third-party management inclusive of maintaining effective relationships, ensuring spend is within specified budget amounts, sharing feedback from patients and department staff.

* To maintain positive relationships with the Renal unit, hospital wards, outpatient units, discharge lounges and bed managers.

* Handle informal complaints or issues patients or staff bring to your attention, ensuring action is taken de-escalate a complaint and the patient is satisfied with the action taken.

* Provide patient sign posting patients to necessary support and information both EMED and the trust can provide.

* Take part in the implementation of actions to ensure learning is implemented to make the necessary improvement to service delivery.

* Take part in internal and external audit/inspection of services to providing evidence and information to support the process.

* Provide services using all risk assessments to maintain the safety of colleagues and patients.

* Establish EPRR network within Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland and provide representation on behalf of the contract operational management team.

To be considered as a Renal Transport Relationship Manager, you will need to be:

Experience of working in a healthcare / hospital setting.

Comprehensive IT skills.
