Headley have a new vacancy available with our manufacturing company in Dewsbury who are seeking a graduate or junior design engineer.
The company has developed an excellent profile in its market, manufacturing industrial products / solutions across a range of industries, supplying international, regional and local businesses alike.
As the workload continues to grow, this new position in the Design Department has arisen.
Duties to include
* Reviewing project briefs to determine design solutions
* Using Solidworks to produce technical drawings for manufacture
* Creation of BOM’s
* Mechanical design of company products specific to customer requirements
* Close and continuous liaison with other internal departments as projects progress
* Production of associated technical information / documents
Required:
* Solidworks experience is essential
* Ideally a university degree in mechanical engineering or similar
* Some industry work experience is helpful, though recent graduates also very much considered
* Good attitude to work – committed, keen to learn and progress.
