As a District Sales Manager at Snap-Tite Hose, you will be responsible for overseeing sales activities and developing new business opportunities within your assigned territory. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure effective leadership, mentorship, and motivation of a team of Distributor Sales Representatives to successfully achieve sales targets and objectives.
Formulate and execute strategic sales plans within the assigned territory to enhance market presence, increase sales, and secure product placement at key dealerships and fire departments.
Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
Analyze the market and provide valuable competitive intelligence to the Snap-tite management team, contributing to the company's increased market share.
Comprehend customer requirements and offer solutions that surpass expectations while fostering strong relationships with key clients and decision makers in the assigned territory.
Identify and pursue new and existing business prospects within the district in alignment with Snap-tite's growth strategy, expanding the customer base.
Deliver training, coaching, and support to enhance the skills and performance of distributor sales team members.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience preferably in manufacturing.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in outside sales required.
Must possess a valid drivers license with no major driving violations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
Proven track record in motivating and inspiring direct reports to meet company sales goals and initiatives.
Results driven individual with a track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
Excellent phone etiquette including conversations with new and prospective customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous working knowledge of ShareCRM  
Previous experience in contract negotiations
