Content Coordinator
This is a contract opportunity.
This is an in-office opportunity in Memphis, TN.
About this position
The Content Coordinator is an entry-level position focused on translating basic product information into compelling, sales-focused copy. This role entails maintaining a daily workload of copy deliverables and inputting product information into the current Copy Tool under the supervision of the Copy Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
Train to manage a heavy workload of daily copy deliverables under the close supervision of Product Copywriters and the Copy Supervisor.
Accurately and completely transfer each item's details into customer-friendly, benefit-oriented copy.
Familiarize oneself with the Copy Manual to ensure all necessary information is input into the content management system based on current directives.
Ensure all images associated with products are accurate and appropriate according to the style guide and directives.
Flag problems as they arise and work to troubleshoot solutions with Copywriters and the Copy Supervisor.
Investigate individual products and larger trends to ensure up-to-date relevancy.
Report to the Copy Supervisor for daily task assignments and copy approvals.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Strong written communication skills with a focus on customer-friendly, benefit-oriented language.
Ability to follow style guides and directives accurately.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Capacity to investigate products and trends to ensure relevant and current copy.
Flexibility to weekends as needed.
Additional Information:
12-month contract with the possibility of extending/converting
Pay/Salary Range:
Pay Range: $26/hour.
